Enterprise cloud infrastructure has become increasingly complex due to the widespread adoption of multi-cloud environments, containerized applications, microservices, and distributed computing architectures. These developments have expanded organizational attack surfaces and increased the volume of security alerts generated by diverse monitoring systems. Traditional security operations often depend on manual investigation, isolated detection mechanisms, and predefined response procedures, resulting in delayed incident handling and increased operational costs. This study explores autonomous security orchestration for enterprise cloud infrastructure through threat correlation and automated response mechanisms. The proposed approach integrates security information and event management, cloud-native monitoring, threat intelligence, behavioral analytics, and security orchestration, automation, and response technologies to identify relationships among seemingly independent security events. A correlation engine evaluates contextual attributes, temporal patterns, attack indicators, and behavioral deviations to prioritize threats and determine appropriate response actions. Autonomous response mechanisms subsequently execute predefined security policies, including suspicious session termination, compromised credential revocation, network isolation, and workload containment, subject to risk thresholds and authorization controls. The research methodology adopts a design-oriented approach supported by quantitative performance evaluation using detection accuracy, false-positive rate, mean time to detect, mean time to respond, and orchestration efficiency. The study also considers explainability, governance, auditability, and operational resilience as essential requirements for trustworthy automation. The proposed framework aims to improve threat visibility, accelerate incident response, and strengthen the security posture of enterprise cloud environments while maintaining operational continuity and human oversight for high-impact decisions.
