Abstract

This paper is focused on the study of the shortcomings of PSO and to generate a new variant of PSO. In
this new MPSO variant, the value of parameters has been tuned. Also a new parameter has been added
in it. MPSO has been applied on real life problem, i.e., software cost estimation.
